.NET and Web Application Developer

Description:

The junior to mid-level .NET and Web Application Developer has the primary responsibility to design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming application components; supports and/or installs software applications and components; works from written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of system functionality.

Skill Requirements:
  • Experience developing C#/.Net applications with a proven ability to write clean, reusable, and efficient code.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML including JQuery, AngularJS, and Bootstrap.
  • Proven ability to debug C# code and identify the root cause of production support issues 
  • The ability to enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
  • Interpersonal skills, to work with others on the team in trusting partnership.
  • Good communication and listening skills with an ability to ask users detailed questions to determine where software defects are affecting their workflows.
  • Effective writing skills, communicate information effectively to customers, managers, and technical staff.

Nice to have skills:
  • An understanding of security best practices as it pertains to HIPAA and PHI data.
  • Entry level SQL Server skills with an ability to comprehend relational data structures and write efficient T-SQL commands.
  • Familiarity with web API technologies like web services, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience using TFS to manage work items, code, builds, and releases.
  • Maintains a breadth of knowledge in healthcare, information technology, and general business.


The ideal candidates would possess 1- 3 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or working toward an equivalent degree. The future employee will be working in a dynamic and collaborative environment so strong communication skills and a team-first attitude are a must.
